The Church Times has a great review of the most recent concert by Oxford-based choir, Commotio. The centrepiece of the concert was a new 8-part Mass setting by Francis Pott (commissioned last year by Commotio). Alongside Pott’s work, the choir gave the first concert performance of John’s motet, Nunc autem manet. Reviewer, Roderic Dunnett, says of the motet:

‘This was a fine piece, with clean textures, sure-footed and evocative …’
