Advent Antiphons choral work by John DugganJohn’s Advent Antiphons are now available from the small independent music publisher, Shorter House, who are distributing worldwide, except in the United States, where scores are available from Edition Peters. This newly published a cappella choral work is scored for SATB with soprano and baritone solos, and sections for semi-chorus. Intended primarily for Christmas concert performance, the piece juxtaposes the ancient Latin text of the ‘O’ Antiphons with English verses written by the composer, charting the difficult course from darkness into light.
