Lamentations in Cincinnati

John’s setting of texts from the Lamentations of Jeremiah is getting another North American performance. The work is scored for soprano solo, trumpet and choir. There is a fine recording by the choir Sospiri on the Naxos label (The Lost City: Lamentations through the ages). The upcoming performance is given by CCM Chorale, directed by L. Brett Scott
